[IWS] Census: TRAINING MODULES for LED ANALYTICAL TOOLS

The following will provide instruction on how to use the newly developed analytical tools of the LOCAL EMPLOYMENT DYNAMICS (LED) unit of the Census Bureau. The tools currently available can be found at

e-Learning Modules

These stand-alone e-learning modules, released on a flow basis, have been developed to tell and illustrate use of the LED Web site, QWI Online, Industry Focus and OnTheMap. Each module is 10-15 minutes long and features voice-over and animation to display the features of a particular analytic tool, using a relevant scenario. . Users may also advance the screens of each module manually, using the
navigation
navigation arrows at the bottom of the screen, and can Pause at any time, using the
pause
icon. Sound may be adjusted or turned off (using the speaker
speaker
icon). Viewers may also read the text for each screen by clicking on the
gototext
icon at the lower right. This opens a window on the left which shows the outline of screens as well as a tab for Notes. Click on Notes to view the text for that screen. The Notes advance with the screen.
