(Use pull-down menu to pick country of interest)

KEY STATISTICAL CONCEPT:

The country statistical profiles provide a broad selection of indicators, illustrating the demographic, economic, environmental and social developments, for each of the 31 member, and to the extent possible for countries that are in the process of accession to the OECD (Estonia, Israel, the Russian Federation and Slovenia). The dataset also cover some key emerging economies with which the OECD has developed an enhanced partnership (Brazil, China, India, Indonesia and South Africa). The user can easily compare each indicator of a country with those of other OECD countries.

Chile became a member of the OECD on 7 May 2010 and data for it now appears in the list of OECD member countries in this dataset. However Chilean data are not included in any OECD area aggregates for technical and timing reasons.

DATA SOURCE(s) USED:

The dataset is a snapshot of data selected from more than 40 OECD statistical databases: it contains the data published in the OECD Factbook. For this reason, more up-to-date data and longer time series can be found in original datasets (see the red i's for more information about the source).
