The Electronic Library of Construction Safety and Health (eLCOSH External Link: http://www.elcosh.org ), provides a wide range of materials on construction safety and health. The goal is to improve safety and health for construction workers by making such information more accessible.
Development of eLCOSH is supported through a grant to CPWR - The Center for Construction Research and Training from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, which is part of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. CPWR is the research arm of the Building and Construction Trades Department, AFL-CIO, which consists of 15 affiliate unions.
Information is available in English, Spanish, and other languages. The materials include:
•Training manuals and overheads
•Summaries of CD-ROMs and videos (and where to get them).
Postings will be limited, with rare exceptions, to items that apply directly to construction safety and health. eLCOSH External Link: http://www.elcosh.org also provides links to related Web sites.
If you have produced an item that might be appropriate for eLCOSH, please contact:
